An Egg Is Quiet is a wonderfully illustrated picture book for preschool children - 2nd grade. This book gives information on eggs while keeping the story line text nice and simple. Sylvia Long has illustrated each egg to its true size, shape and color. Her drawings are very softly done and beautiful to look at. One can enjoy this book with their child by reading it or just simply by looking at all the different eggs.
