It's the summer of 1896 and two brothers Miles and Chadwick (Wick) just got in trouble at their boarding school. They created a small bomb that went off in their Latin class. Now both their Latin teacher and mother are upset. As punishment their mother is making them spend their summer vacation with their rich Uncle Eustace. This means they must travel overseas by boat and help their Uncle purchase artwork for his mansion. While the boys try to think of ways to get away from their uncle they unknowngly discover a dark society that is planning on taking over the world. This society is based on six knot woodcuts (and a missing 7th knot) by Albrecht Durer, a famous Renaissance artist. As Miles and Wick get caught up in this dangerous world they find themselves traveling through Italy and Germany. Can these two boys save their uncle's servant? Can they stop the society from taking over the world?
